Circus Fun

They said, don’t take your kids to the circus — they’re too young, they won’t get it. But we took our kids anyway, and here’s what happened!

They LOVED the circus! Our whole family did.

Here are five great reasons to take your kids + family to the circus the next time it comes to town:

  1. Magical Memories — there's something incredibly special about making a day out of the circus, like seeing the tent, the entertainers and acts, the ringmaster, the circus snacks (cotton candy, snow cones, big pretzels), and all the people. The day creates magic and excitement in the air.

  2. Cultural Enrichment — when you go to the circus, you learn about a long-standing circus tradition as well as all the performers who are bringing entertainment and costumes from all around the world.

  3. Creativity Spark —when you see the circus stage, music, costumes and performances, there is a light of inspiration that goes off in you that makes you want to go home and be creative.

  4. Supporting the Arts — going to the circus, paying for your ticket, food at the concession stand, and souvenirs means that you are supporting the arts and all the performers who can continue to perform.

  5. Family Bonding — a day at the circus means a day spending time with family doing something special that will forever be remembered.

PS. There were no animals, and we didn’t miss seeing them. The circus acts and entertainers were out of this world, and we had the best time at the circus!

DYK? The circus is the oldest form of family entertainment and is great for kids, even young kids (despite what they say).

Q. What’s your favourite circus act? I’d love to know. Tell me below👇🏻
