When I was little, I always loved to dance — though, I wouldn’t say I was ever a great dancer. And now that I’m older, I still love to dance — and I don’t care what anybody has to say about it.

Dancing is one of the best things you can do for your body and soul, even if you feel like you have two left feet, and it is so incredibly liberating and freeing.

Benefits:

  • Increased brain health, creativity + imagination

  • Improved flexibility, strength, coordination + cardiovascular health

  • Decreased stress, anxiety + depression

Three ways to dance at home everyday:

  • Learn a new dance routine - find one on TikTok or Youtube and learn the steps until you can do the whole routine

  • Use dance as a workout - put on some music and dance to it for 30 minutes until you are working up a sweat

  • Have a dance party after dinner - turn on some fun music and dance away with your family

Bringing dance into your day to day life is one of the best gifts you can give yourself!
