Vacation Top 10

Friends, it’s been a wild ride here on vacation! Life is tough.

I mean waking up everyday with sunshine all around and cute little people… well, its been really challenging.

BUT, all good things must come to an end and we have to return to reality at some point.

I tried to make a reel of all our favourite memories, and I just couldn’t do it. There were way too many and I became overwhelmed and decided to eat chocolate instead.

So, here are our Top 10 written below:

  1. The Pool - we were lucky to have a pool in our backyard, which was perfect for the kids. They LOVE to swim, and turned into little fishies all day long

  2. Popsicles - our kids love popsicles. Well, they love ALL cold treats. We had the best fun eating popsicles by the pool or heading out for ice cream at a local ice cream shop

  3. Eating Out - we tried to eat at home as much as we could but we do really love eating out, and one of our favourite places is Pop’s Sunset Grill for live music and dinner

  4. The Beach - you can never go wrong spending the day at the beach, and a few of our favourite beaches nearby include Venice Beach and Siesta Key

  5. Beach Fireworks - they are free, and the most beautiful to see. Any time you have the chance to see fireworks with your kids, especially on the beach, take it

  6. Beach Sunsets - we had dinner by Venice Beach, walked the pier and then watched the sunset on the beach - and let me tell you it was one of the most magical evenings by far

  7. Nature Walks - every day, we tried to go for a little walk in nature to breathe in the fresh air, get a little exercise and be by nature

  8. The Circus - we watched the Summer Circus in Sarasota and it surpassed all my expectation, and the entire family loved it. No animals, just exciting acts.

  9. The Jungle - this also surpassed my expectations, and was the perfect activity for a family regardless of your kid’s age. Relaxing, and so beautiful to walk through

  10. Being Together - the best gift of all

Oh, and I forgot about our Mango tree - more on that to come!

The VERY BEST part of vacation, though, is just being together. All day, every day.
