Wagon Ride Fun

I will travel far and wide for a great family farm, especially when they have wagon rides. For me, there is nothing better. Being connected to nature, spending time with family and enjoying the best of the season — throw in a fun little wagon ride with fresh air in your hair, and well, it’s golden.

Now that we have little kids, it makes it all that much more exciting — so to say I’ve been to a few is an understatement.

My top three family farms — listed below — are definitely worth travelling to, and you can spend the day and night there, making it worth the trip. You and your kids will never want to leave, and your heart and bellies will be full.

Here are my top three wagon rides and family farms to check out with the whole gang in Ontario:

  1. Saunders Farm in Ottawa, Ontario

Farm — the farm has all sorts of attractions, like a haunted house, performers walking the grounds, a play and puppet show, wagon ride, bakery, corn mazes, zip line, trampoline, cider house, pumpkin wall, and a lot of play structures for the kids. You’ll never get board.

Wagon Ride — this wagon ride is next-level. You will travel into the woods, with the tree tips and cool air skimming by you. There are real performers that will jump out at you and you’ll travel through different scenes — all with a spooky flair. You will be laughing and scared all at the same time, and sitting on the edge of your seat!

  2. Chudleigh’s Farm in Milton, Ontario

Farm — when you enter into Chudleigh’s there is definitely a wow factor! The farm has an outdoor stage where cover bands perform greatest hits on the weekend. There’s a corn roast, cidery, animal petting zoo, corn maze, apple orchard and a one-of-a-kind play structure that will keep your kids busy for hours. You’ll love spending the day and night at Chudleigh’s.

Wagon Ride — this wagon ride is the cutest. It travels through the apple orchard. You can hop on and off at different apple varieties and pick them. There is also a nature trail where you can walk along, and then hop back on the wagon to keep going. Definitely a great ride for the whole family.

  3. Snyder’s Farm in Bright, Ontario

Farm — we go to this farm every year, and we never want to leave. It’s adorable and has enough activities to keep you and your family busy for hours. It has a wagon ride, fire pits, play structures, trampolines, go carts, hay stacks, haunted house, bakery, food trucks, and even live music.

Wagon Ride — this wagon ride was something else! I felt giddy the entire time. As we travelled through the woods, we passed through different stages where live performers would come out, telling a story of a haunted and spooky tale. Fun for the whole family. We loved every minute!
