Craft Rocket Ship

Get ready to blast off 💥 🚀

Chet is obsessed with rocket ships and asked me to make him one – so naturally I had to step up to the challenge!

Made with love from a recycled paper towel roll, tissue paper, construction paper and card stock.

So easy to make! Get your kids to make it with you and let them do all the decorating. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Steps
- paint paper towel roll, let dry
- trace 2 half moons (use bowl, pencil), cut out to form wings, fold in half
- cut inch slit on fold from top down on one and bottom up on other, merge two pieces
- cut four 2 inch slits equal distance apart on bottom of roll, slide wings in
- cut 1 inch strip from construction paper, glue around bottom of roll (under wings) to keep wings in place
- use bowl to trace, cut circle from construction paper, cut out 1/4 of circle, glue sides tightly together
- cut small circle from construction paper for window, glue on
- take piece of tissue from centre, scrunch ends, glue in bottom
