Tahini Sprinkle Cookies

Delicious, nutritious and easy to make, these Tahini Sprinkle Cookies will be your new favourite cookie recipe. Made with less than 10 ingredients, they are are soft, chewy and deliciously crisp. You can top them whatever toppings you like, and make them in 10 minutes.

Your family will love them, and they are even safe for school (no nuts).

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup tahini (room temperature)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar or maple syrup

  • 1/3 cup flour (all-purpose white or whole wheat) 

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda 

  • 1/8 tsp salt 

  • toppings ā€” raisins, coconut, chocolate chunks, nuts, sesame seeds 

STEPS

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees, line baking pan with parchment paper

  2. Mix ingredients in bowl ā€” you can use one bowl, and you do not need a hand or stand mixer

  3. Scoop cookies onto baking pan (leave two inches between cookies)

  4. Spinkle toppings on top of cookies

  5. Bake for 9-11 minutes (until edges are golden brown)

  6. Let cool for five minutes, and enjoy!
