Art Store Finds

This week, Chet and I hit a few of our favourite stores looking for arts & crafts supplies, and then rewarded our “hard work” by eating out for lunch. Because let’s face it, shopping is hard work!

This was such a fun mommy & son thing to do, and then after we went home to use all of our new stuff and played for days (more on this to come)! It was such a fun way to keep him busy, engaged and best of all, out of trouble!

Here are our top five finds for being creative at home with your family that are easy, fun and totally budget-friendly from our shopping trip:

  • Create a space for your kids to do art that keeps them (and your house) clean and organized, while giving them the set-up and tools they need to be creative (water container, paint palette, brush holder and canvas). This is definitely a must-have for all households.
