Summer trend alert – we’ve been seeing the cutest little ice cream shops pop up all over.

Although we love our classic places like Baskin Robbins and Dairy Queen, there’s something about these new ice cream shops we just can’t get enough of.

Why?

• a different selection of flavours & toppings

• new ideas for ice cream specials and sundaes

• homemade cones, especially waffle cones

• local vendors & business owners

• and the cutest decor!

Try taking the whole family as an afternoon outing, or take just one kid as a special treat.

This past weekend, I took just Chet to our local ice cream shop. It was a special treat for him, and great to have the one on one time. Although we didn’t do much talking, we enjoyed every minute of it!

In our house, we LOVE ice cream.
