This FUN and EASY DIY Mother’s Day pop-up sign is made from 100% recycled cardboard, and is so simple to make in no time at all!
It’s the perfect decoration for your kid’s parties or even to put in your kid’s room!
I’ve been wanting to make a homemade, pop-up sign forever, and now I have with the help of
my little assistant, Chet. I cut it out and now he gets to decorate it! Win win.
The perfect decoration, and just in time for Mother’s Day!
All you need is:
cardboard, pencil, exacto knife, cutting board
Steps:
draw your letters any size on the cardboard, you can use a stencil if you need to
cut the letters with exacto knife
cut 2 inch slits on each side of the bottom of the letters
cut rectangle shapes for each slit (about 2.5 by 5 inches)
And slide them in! You may need to made the slits wider to fit them in
